Serving
Cooking Time
Difficulty
- 200 gPaneer
- 2 tbspIndian Pantry Garam Masala
- 2 cupChopped kale
- 1 tbspMustard oil
- 1Onion
- 2Tomato
- 1/2 cupWater
- 1/2 tbspSalt
- 1/2 tbspFresh cilantro
- 1Cook the Kale
Boil the chopped kale in hot water for about 3–4 minutes until soft. Drain it, blend it into a smooth paste, and keep it aside.
- 2Make the Curry Base
Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until it turns golden and soft. Add the tomato and cook until it becomes mushy and blends well with the onion.
- 3Add the Garam Masala
Now add one tablespoon of Indian Pantry’s Garam Masala. Stir it for a minute so the spices bloom and fill your kitchen with a warm, rich aroma.
- 4Add the Kale and Paneer
Pour in the kale puree, add salt, and mix it all. Add paneer cubes and a little water to get the right consistency.
- 5Simmer and Serve
Let it cook on low heat for about 5–7 minutes. Turn off the heat, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve hot with roti, naan, or steamed rice.
Extra Tips
- Use tofu instead of paneer for a vegan option.
- Add a green chili or two if you like a little heat.
- A squeeze of lemon before serving gives it a nice tangy lift.
