After such a good weekend at the Portobello West Holiday Market in November, we were really looking forward to the Cloverdale Grand Christmas Market on December 6, 2025. The market ran from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and honestly, the day just flew by. The space felt warm and festive, and there was a steady buzz the whole time.
From the moment things opened up in the morning, people started walking past our booth. Some stopped because they recognized us from Portobello. Others said a friend had told them to come find us. That’s always a great feeling. It felt like the energy from the last market carried right into this one.
What People Enjoyed
Our booth stayed busy for most of the day. People liked stopping for a chai sample, especially when it was chilly outside. A warm cup in hand gave everyone a little pause from walking around, and it often turned into an easy conversation.

A lot of the chats weren’t even about products right away. People talked about holiday plans, cooking at home, or which markets they had already visited that day. When food did come up, it was usually about keeping meals simple during the busy season or finding something thoughtful to gift.
Our gift boxes caught the eye of many shoppers who were already thinking ahead for the holidays. It was nice watching people take their time, mixing and matching, and talking about who they wanted to gift it to.
A Beautiful Follow-Up to Portobello
Just like at Portobello, the conversations really made the day special. From morning to late afternoon, there was a steady flow of visitors. Some came back later with friends. Others returned after walking the whole market and deciding to stop again.
By the time 4:00 PM rolled around, we felt tired in a good way. Portobello gave us a strong start to the season, and Cloverdale felt like a natural continuation of that joy. We packed up feeling grateful, encouraged, and already looking forward to the next market.
